Three local Madison nonprofit groups received grants from the Madison Community Foundation to help create and finish new projects while working to leverage thousands of other dollars.

The Urban League of Greater Madison will receive $25,000 to deliver workforce and degree training programs. The Madison Children's Museum will receive a $150,000 award to fund a children's art gallery and two early childhood exhibits. And the Society of St. Vincent De Paul will receive a $100,000 gift to help complete the society's new facility at 2033 Fish Hatchery Road.

These grants help all three groups meet fundraising goals and obtain challenge grants.
